Triple dose of festive fun

CLOSE to 4,000 guests were reported to have attended S P Setia’s third Perfect Reunion CNY 2017 celebration recently. The last of the developer’s three celebrations featuring Astro celebrities was held at Setia City Convention Centre while the previous two were held at SetiaWelcome Centre at Setia Tropika in Johor and Setia Welcome Centre at SPICE Penang respectively.
SUMPTUOUS CELEBRATION
Said to be the grandest of the three, the festive gathering kicked off with a jaw-dropping acrobatic lion dance performance by the award-winning Kun Seng Keng Dragon and Lion Dance Association from Muar, Johor. The Astro celebrities then took over the stage belting out songs and organising fun and interesting games that got guests cheering and laughing. Lucky winners were also presented with limited-edition plush toys, courtesy of Setia in collaboration with Astro.
ACTIVITIES GALORE
The God of Prosperity was seen making his way handing out limited-edition ang pow packets that carried Setia’s festive theme for this year depicting “home is made complete when all family members reunite”.
On-going activities kept the crowd entertained, from paper flower-making to origami, tarot card reading, Chinese rainbow calligraphy, dough doll-making and more. Setia staff donned in festive garb were also seen handing our local Chinese delicacies.
STARS OF THE NIGHT
The celebration also saw the culmination of the “Setia Back to No. 1” contest where Alice Dora Bouchor walked off with a return trip to London’s Annual Chelsea Flower Show and Louis Tan, the grand prize winner of a London Battersea Power Station Apartment worth £400,000.
Some 12 more prizes were presented to winners who purchased Setia properties. For more information, visit S P Setia’s website.
