Couple host 15-hour free clothing giveaway

PETALING JAYA: Residents in Kangar were in for a treat yesterday as they were given the opportunity to browse through an array of clothing and take their picks home for free!
The clothes giveaway was organised by Mohd Hayazee Ramly and his wife Nik Nurul Idayu Nik Mat, the owners of second-hand clothing store 'Gerobok Bundle'.
Held outside the store's premises in Jalan Padang Behor, Kangar, the event lasted for a whopping fifteen hours, starting from 3pm yesterday, until 6am this morning.
Customers were also able to choose garments opened straight from the sack, instead of old stocks from the store.
The couple said the event was held in appreciation of their loyal customers who have supported their business since its humble beginnings in 2015.
Today, the couple own two stores in Perlis and Kelantan and also act as wholesalers and suppliers of clothing and items such as used bags and shoes in Perlis and the northern region of the country.
According to Berita Harian, the husband and wife team also sell preloved clothes for only RM1 every Friday till Sunday.
With such amazing deals, it's no wonder patrons keep coming back for more!
