IT'S two times the celebration for Freeport A’Famosa Outlet (FAO) as the Lunar New Year festival also marks its first year anniversary.
In conjunction with this occasion, FAO has organised a series of activities to usher in the Year of the Rooster to celebrate with its patrons.
In the spirit of the Chinese New Year festival, FAO has erected a giant rooster sculpture at the entrance of the mall as the rooster will bring luck, peace and harmony to all shoppers throughout 2017.
Present at the launch of the Lunar New Year celebration were the Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, minister of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, Datuk Max Ermieyati Samsudin, deputy minister of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, and Datuk Alex Lau Chir Nguan, A’Famosa group managing director.
Don’t miss out on the last chance to witness the finale of the 15-day-performance by the multi-award world champion Kun Seng Keng Lion & Dragon Dance Association troupe that will take place this Saturday and Sunday at 7pm and 6pm respectively. The troupe has been an international winner for more than 30 times over the last 10 years.
Visitors can expect a 30-minute performance filled with spectacular acrobatic Lion Dance show on high stilts as well as fortune orange and chick plush toys give-away from the troupes.
