Classical Feng Shui - Getting love to bloom

SOME people are blessed with strong romance or spouse luck. They tend to find love at a young age, and opportunities come easily in their lives. Others are not so lucky.
In the practice of feng shui, there is a formula known as the Flower of Romance, or Peach Blossom method, that can increase one’s chances of finding love.
Do note that this technique only increases one’s chances, but does not guarantee that the opportunities will result in a long-lasting relationship.
It is up to you and your partner to bring your relationship to fruition.
Each of us is born under a Chinese zodiac animal year, based on the Chinese solar calendar. A Chinese solar year begins on or around Feb 4 every year.
Take, for example, those born in 1966. This makes them Horse people, but only if they were born after Feb 4 in 1966.
If they were born before that – say on Jan 2, 1966 – then they belong to the animal zodiac just before the Horse, which is the Snake.
For those born on or around Feb 4, they will need to refer to the 10,000 Year Calendar to find the crossover date and time for that year.
The Chinese zodiac signs are also divided into four groups comprising three zodiac signs each. For example, the Tiger, Horse and Dog are in one group while the Snake, Rooster and Ox are in another.
According to the Peach Blossom method, activating the North 2 sector can enhance the romance, or Peach Blossom luck, for the Tiger, Horse and Dog, while activating the South 2 sector can do the same for the Snake, Rooster and Ox.
(See the table for the grouping of all 12 Chinese zodiac animal signs as well as their activation sectors.)
The sectors mentioned are referenced from the centre or middle of the house. Simply stand in the centre of the house with a compass in hand to identify the appropriate sector.
The traditional way to activate a sector of the house is to place fresh flowers in the appropriate sector.
For example, if you are a Boar or a Rabbit or a Goat, then you should place fresh flowers in the North sector of the house.
These flowers need to be replaced periodically, at least until the opportunity is realised.
What if you are renting a room and do not have the flexibility to place a pot of flower in the appropriate sector?
The solution, though less effective, is to place it in the North sector of your room.
Instead of fresh flowers, can we place anything else?
Other people have experienced results by replacing fresh flowers with live plants, and/or with a water feature.
A sector may also be activated by the house facing a favourable direction.
For example, if you are a Snake, Rooster or a Dog, and you live in a South 2 facing house that has a lot of activity at the facing side – such as, if it faces a pond with enthusiasts engaging in water sport – you may also find your romantic luck enhanced.
However, before you activate your romance luck, you should also check to see who else living in your house may be affected by your activation of the Peach Blossom luck.
Suppose both you and your father are Horses, activating the East 2 sector may enhance his Peach Blossom luck too, which might upset your mother!
