A MARRIED man who was accused of having an affair with a 15-year-old schoolgirl has been remanded by police for allegedly raping her – as the entire fiasco plays out on social media.
It all started when his wife shared a post on Facebook (it garnered over 8,000 shares in a matter of days), accusing him of having a sexual relationship with a form three student.
In the latest update, the wife revealed that her husband had been taken into police custody in Seri Alam, Johor, after his 15-year-old lover's mother lodged a report accusing him of raping her daughter, a minor.
According to the wife, her husband had admitted to having sex with the young girl in their bedroom. Even worse, he claimed that their son was not his child but the result of an affair his wife had with another man.
The wife then took to Facebook to express her disappointment over his wild allegations. She also thanked netizens who had supported her and asked God to give her strength to face the ordeal in the days to come.
In the original post which went viral, the wife said her husband had cheated throughout their four-year-marriage, but she had forgiven him, since they have a child together. She chose to publicise the story via Facebook as she could not suffer in silence any longer.
She even shared photos of her husband and the young girl as well as screenshots of their conversations on Wechat.
Later, the husband defended himself against the allegations, denying that he is a 'kaki perempuan' (womaniser).
He admitted that he was in a relationship with the 15-year-old girl, but claimed they had never engaged in sexual activity.
Instead, he said he made friends with the young girl as he was stressed out due to problems at home. The husband alleged that his wife was controlling and treated him like a slave.
"I have tolerated her rude behavior for so long to the extent that my feelings for her have changed. I feel stressed living with her," he added.
He even made a police report over the incident and shared that the couple are in the process of getting a divorce.
Meanwhile, the wife claimed that he was simply trying to get out of the sticky situation by spreading lies.
