Mortuary van leaves Putrajaya Hospital to HKL for post mortem

KUALA LUMPUR: The body of Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has been moved from the Putrajaya Hospital to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) for a post-mortem to be carried out.
At around 9am today, armed policemen escorted a hospital van believed to be carrying the body of the assassinated North Korean to HKL.
Selangor police chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Abdul Samah Mat confirmed that the body was sent to HKL for a post mortem.
He added that the reason for this was because HKL has better facilities to deal with post-mortem procedures.
Abdul Samah said the post-mortem will be completed by evening.
Jong Nam, 45 died after he was allegedly assassinated by North Korean spies on Tuesday at KLIA2.
Two female agents allegedly splashed his face with a chemical at the airport's departure hall, where he was waiting to board a flight to Macau.
The women then got into a cab and fled.
