Good Samaritan helps accident victims, ends up on the losing end

A WOMAN'S account of how she had the wrong end of the stick after doing a good deed, has gone viral on Facebook.
"That's why I am vulnerable because i have a kind heart," Gillian Benjamin said in a Facebook post relating how she helped victims of an accident last year, but ended up on the losing end.
It all started on a rainy day when a Yamaha super bike was hit by a car, which then hit the back of Gillian's car due to the impact.
Gillian noticed that the riders had been run over and instinctively ran to help the husband and wife duo who lay on the road injured, in the pouring rain.
She contacted the wife's mother to inform her of the accident and tended to the victims until the ambulance arrived an hour later.
Throughout the incident, the driver who had caused the accident was nowhere to be seen. According to Gillian, the driver only got out to fix his car bumper and then drove off, without so much as a glance at the injured riders.
The driver only lodged a police report two days later, and worse still, lied that he had waited until the ambulance arrived.
"All your statements are bull****. Dah lah langgar lari (hit and run). Can say you waited for the ambulance to arrive before leaving? Your HEAD LA!!! You were there for not even 10 minutes!" Gillian wrote on Facebook.
Desperate to put the ordeal behind her, she did not claim compensation and forked out her own money to fix the damage to her car.
"Ungrateful - really ungrateful, I should just leave you all there under the rain but I am not that kind of person!!!" she added in the post.
Luckily for Gillian, her father had taken photos of the entire incident as proof.
Investigations into the case are currently underway.
The Facebook post has since been shared over 4,000 times.
