A HEARTWARMING video of a man feeding an elderly man a plate of nasi campur with his bare hands has taken the internet by storm.
In the video, the Malay man, sporting a ponytail, can be seen feeding the Indian man, who is believed to be homeless, at a food court.
The elderly man who was dressed shabbily in a polo shirt and shorts and had an unshaven beard, was barefoot.
In between each mouthful of food, the Malay man tried to talk to him but the elderly man looked shy and avoided eye contact.
After a few mouths, the old man waved his hand to indicate he did not want any more, but was coaxed into eating more food.
At one point, the Malay man looks at passers-by and jokingly asks: "Kau dah makan belum? Mari sini, aku suap kau." (Have you eaten? Come, let me feed you).
Later, the old man stood up and gestured that he was full, before walking away. The Malay man followed him, hoping he would eat a little more, and only stopped after the elderly man strongly rejected the food.
Netizens were touched by the man's kindness and friendliness, many saying that he has set an excellent example for Malaysians of all races.
Watch the video below. It definitely restores one's faith in humanity!
