Jetson, partner bag RM202m highway job

KUALA LUMPUR: Jetson Construction – China Communication Construction JV, an unincorporated joint venture (JV) between Jetson Construction Sdn Bhd and The Fifth Branch of CCCC Third Highway Engineering Co Ltd, has secured a RM201.9 million highway sub-contract project from BBSB Holdings Sdn Bhd.
The contract, Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) Package CB5, was for the construction and completion of mainline and other associated highway works.
Jetson Construction is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jetson while The Fifth Branch of CCCC Third Highway Engineering Co Ltd is a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Ltd.
“The project is expected to contribute positively to Jetson and its subsidiaries’ earnings for the financial years ending 2017 to 2019,” it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
It also said the project would not have any effect on Jetson’s share capital and shareholding structure. – Bernama
