Foreigner found drowned at Pantai Lido

    JOHOR BARU: A foreign national, believed to be a patient from Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA), was found drowned at Pantai Lido early today.
    State Fire and Rescue Department Commander of Operations Senior Fire officer II Kamalrulzaman Saleh said the body was found at 1.08am about 150m from the beach by a search and rescue team.
    "The body, clad in the HSA patient's attire had been handed to the police for further action," he said when contacted today.
    The victim, in his 30s, believed from the East Ward of HSA, had been seen at the beach area, which is about 100m from the HSA main building, at about 7pm yesterday.
    Meanwhile, a search and rescue team was mounted after the Tebrau Fire and Rescue Station received a call at about 7 pm yesterday on a drowning incident. — Bernama
