CANON Marketing Malaysia recently held a week-long product showcase event in Mid Valley Megamall as part of its 30th anniversary celebration in Malaysia.
The showcase featured all of its imaging products and achievements for both the consumer and enterprise markets.
Present at the launch event were Canon Marketing (Malaysia) president and chief executive officer Andrew Koh, Consumer Imaging & Information Division head Jeffrey Kung and brand ambassador singer-actress Janna Nick.
Koh said: “The celebration of Canon Marketing Malaysia’s 30th anniversary is an exciting time for our company, and we are grateful for all of the local support and encouragement we have received over this journey.
“We are glad to have been given the opportunity to serve Malaysia, and we hope to continue delighting every Malaysian with our products and services.”
He added that over the past 30 years, Canon Marketing Malaysia has evolved from a staff force of only 52 people in 1987, to over 600 employees currently employed in its head office and seven branches nationwide.
That does not include the network of more than 3,000 direct channel partners, which helped to transform Canon into a household name today in Malaysia.
Canon is currently leading the inkjet printer market as a top Malaysian brand for the last 21 years, and has been the number one laser printer brand for two consecutive years in the market.
The products showcased at the Mid Valley Megamall’s Centre Court included the latest devices in Canon’s line-up, such as the E470 from the Pixma Ink Efficient Printer range, the MB5470 from the Maxify business inkjet printer range, the legendary EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera, and Canon’s latest premium mirrorless flagship model, the EOS M5.
Visitors to the showcase also enjoyed discounts and promotions on all the products on display such as printers, calculators, cameras, and more.
As a gesture of commitment to their customers, Canon also opened up a camera clinic at the showcase event so that members of the public could bring their Canon cameras in for a service or repair.
