IPROPERTY.COM kicked-off the new year with its first instalment of its annual iProperty.com Home and Property Investment Fair. The three-day expo, which was held from Feb 17 to 19 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, featured the latest property project launches of 30 notable developers.

► MRT 1 is here. What’s next – Looking at Future Real Estate Opportunity in GKL byHo Chin Soon Research CEO Ishmael Ho; and
► What is the worst thing that can happen to me if I invest in property? by Chur Associates managing partner Chris Tan.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Other highlights included the “Millionaire Forum - Where to put your money in 2017”, where a panel consisting of DasFinancial executive chairman Terry O’Hearn, Big Industries chairman and property developer Tan Sri Datuk Sri Dr Lau Ban Tin, Signature Living Asia director Dean Edward, and Quest Corp Global corporate advisory consultant Leong Kwok Heng, shared their experiences and knowledge.

WORD FROM THE CEO
“This is the first exhibition for the year so it’s very symbolic for us. We have very good support from the developer community. Everyone recognises that we need to come together to continue to educate and provide great offers to consumers,” said iProperty Group Malaysia and Singapore CEO Haresh Khoobchandani.
On plans for iProperty in the coming year, Haresh shared a little on the data-driven direction the group will take. “We start to provide data-driven solutions to the market. More than that, it’s about how to become a trusted advisor to the developers, agents and consumers. We want to use smart data to make smart decisions.
“Property is a huge aspiration for many Malaysians ... this gives them the ability to make some big decisions and its also gives the developer the ability to build according to what the people aspire. It also provides insights on where growth is going to come from,” he added.
