CIMB targets loans growth of 6-7% for 2017

    KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Group Holdings Bhd expects a loan growth of 6%-7% this year.
    Group chief executive Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz said loans grew 8.7% last year. Stripping away the foreign exchange impact, loan growth was 6.4%.
    "We expect loan growth to be around the same region as last year but slightly slower," he said at a press conference after announcing its financial results here this afternoon.
    CIMB posted a net profit of RM854.39 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2016, from RM825.74 million a year ago.
