Giving a Hand Up to Underprivileged and Disabled Community

PUCHONG: Ten underprivileged families from the Enggang Flat had their groceries sponsored by Great Vision Charity Association (GVCA) in their ongoing monthly charity program, Shopping Buddy Program.
The families were invited for groceries shopping outing at Tesco Scott Garden accompanied by volunteers from the association.
This initiative is funded by public donation and each family is presented with RM100 cash vouchers to help ease their burden.
Great Vision Charity Association representative, Chor Mun Yan said the association was focusing on serving the underprivileged community in its Shopping Buddy Program by extending the reach to different PPR and flats in Lembah Pantai area since the program began in Oct 2014.

A participating volunteer, Melinda Khoo Kwai Fun commented that after being part of the programme, she is more grateful for what she has.
The charity shopping event ended with a surprise drop-in from online florist, Happy Bunch. The florist generously gifted flowers to all the families and volunteers and put a smile on everyone's face.
