A TWO year old toddler dies after father reverses into her.
According to Harian Metro, Nur Aireena Ilhani Azizi died on the way to the hospital due to injuries sustained after her father accidentally reversed his 4WD into her.
This morning at 8:45am, her father Azizi Ramli, had just came back from delivering groceries to one of his customers.
His eldest son, Muhammad Aiman Azizi, 18, told Harian Metro he was at the counter of the grocery shop when he heard his mother, Noraini Mohamad, 41 scream.
"She was shouting my sister's name so I rushed to see what had happened. My sister was lying behind father's car, covered in blood," he said.
The little girl was taken to Hospital Jengka for treatment but died on the way.
Her body has been laid to rest in Felda 10 Islamic burial ground today at 3 pm.
The victim's father is traumatised from the incident that robbed him of his only daughter from four siblings.
District police chief Superintendent Mazlan Hassan has confirmed report of the incident has been received and is being investigated.
