Three badly hurt in three-vehicle crash

LENGGONG: Three people, including a woman, were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash at Km31.3 of Jalan Kuala Kangsar-Gerik, here today.
The vehicles involved were a Proton Iswara Aeroback, a Toyota Harrier (SUV) and a lorry carrying timber logs.
Lenggong Fire and Rescue Department assistant chief Mohd Anuar Mohd Saff said the department received a distress call about the incident at 11.25am.
A team of firemen from the Lenggong and Kuala Kangsar stations were immediately deployed to the scene.
"Seven people were involved in the crash. However, only three were injured.
"Two of those injured were believed to be drivers of the car and the SUV, while the third person was the lorry attendant.
"The victims were taken to the Gerik Hospital for treatment," he said, adding that the identity of the victims is yet to be known.
