An MBA for success

THE Management & Science University (MSU) through its Graduate School of Management (GSM) recognises that today’s global companies require managers with a global outlook. Its Master of Business Administration (MBA) offers students experiential learning in cross cultural communication, the opportunity to build a global network and the possibility to create future international career opportunities. Students will also have the opportunity to develop management skills and techniques, and to obtain strategic orientation and implement the strategies formulated.
The programme helps students develop their skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, strategic management and decision making. It trains them to become successful leaders in their area and be entrepreneurial thinkers in the most competitive markets. It also provides sufficient knowledge for students to understand the various facets of an organisation and formulate successful strategies while instilling a great deal of confidence.
The programme’s Active Learning Exercises act as a basis for verbal analysis and discussion, allowing a rich learning environment by integrating the real world into the classroom. This broadens students’ understanding of issues by inviting them to think beyond the text material. New terms and concepts are also defined to facilitate learning.
MSU’s professors are accomplished educationists who have also made significant contributions in the business world, both as academics and working professionals. They conduct research and publish articles on business and professional areas. They have also taught university-level business courses abroad, bringing their rich multicultural heritage to our country.
Apart from the MBA programme, GSM also offers PhD and Master programmes in a variety of fields including Management/ Business, Accounting/ Finance, Management, Educational Management and Leadership, and Education (Teaching English as a Second Language).
MSU has received numerous recognitions from Malaysian and international accreditation bodies. Besides the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), the university has placed itself on par with world-class standards by achieving the highest distinction of Five Stars in the 2016 QS Stars University Rating for Teaching, Employability, Facilities, Social Responsibility and Inclusiveness.
The university is also the first non-Japanese university accredited by the Alliance on Business Education & Scholarship for Tomorrow (ABEST21) and Top Two Private Universities in Entrepreneurship. It has also been twice accorded Excellent-Status University by the Ministry of Higher Education.
