PETALING JAYA: Hock Seng Lee Bhd (HSL) has been awarded a RM333 million wastewater treatment plant and sewer networks project by the Sewerage Systems Department of Sarawak.
Its board of directors said through a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it bagged the project through an open tender for which it received its letter of acceptance on March 3.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of HSL Group as the Project progresses during the contract period. However, the transaction will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholdings of HSL,” added its board.
The project will go on for 48 months commencing March 30, and includes earthworks, construction and commissioning of the wastewater treatment plant, sewer networks and intermediate pump station including associated works and property connections.
