KUALA LUMPUR: A South Korean man was found dead at a condominium unit in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah here yesterday.

Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the post-mortem on the 42-year-old man established that he had died four days ago of a heart attack.

"The body is now at the Kuala Lumpur and the South Korean embassy has been informed so that his next-of-kin can be traced," he told Bernama today.

He said police were alerted about the case by a security guard at the condominium block at 10.41pm.

The guard reported that a foul stench was coming from the unit, he said.

He said police and security guards there had to kick down the door to get in and found the man lying sprawled on a bed.

Munusamy said based on information obtained from the real estate agent dealing on rental of the units there, the man had come to Malaysia to learn English and had rented the property since May last year. — Bernama
