KUCHING: Questions pertaining to employment, education, technology and health are among the issues raised by youth across the country for the National Transformation 2050 (TN50), said Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
"They touched on issues such as value, the future of employment, the environment, technology, education and health.
"I do not want to say it in detail as we have yet to complete the tour around Malaysia. But for sure there were many issues raised, covering various sectors," he told a press conference after a dialogue session on the TN50 at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) here today.
Also present was Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.
Explaining further on the dialogue in Sarawak today, Khairy said the youth in the state have high aspiration for the state and Malaysia, such as a more balanced development between Sarawak and the Peninsula.
"One of the aspirations that really caught my interest is the use of technology. Although Sarawak is still lacking in terms of infrastructure and basic facilities, technology has been mentioned not only by the chief minister himself but also by the youth in Sarawak," he said. — Bernama
