SINGAPORE: Two Malaysian motorcyclists who were killed in an accident involving nine motorcycles and a van Saturday afternoon here were known as Loke Whay Nam and Lim Chun Hong, according to sources.
In the crash at the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), Loke, 50, and Lim, 34, died on the spot.
For some reasons, the sources can only reveal the names of the two deceased and not the six other Malaysian motorcyclists who were injured. One other Malaysian motorcyclist was unhurt.
They sustained head and body injuries in the crash and were currently at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Yishun.
Malaysian media was made to understand that the remains of Loke and Lim have been claimed by the families early this morning from the Singapore General Hospital after a post mortem.
The accident happened around 3.30pm yesterday along BKE towards Woodlands after Seletar Expressway (SLE) exit. — Bernama
