(VIDEO) Video of Perodua Alza mowing down motorcyclist goes viral

PETALING JAYA: An accident involving a car crashing into a motorcycle at a busy inter-section in Pandan Indah on Tuesday has gone viral after it was posted on social media.
The nearly two-minute video posted by Facebook user Ng Si Ji showed a white coloured Perdoua Alza crashing into a motorcycle which was recorded from a dashboard camera.
In the video which has since received 5,932 shares as of press time, the car is seen ramming into the motorcycle causing the motorcyclist to be hurtled into the air before landing on the road.
Following the incident, the motorcyclist is seen lying motionless on the road as others are seen helping him.
It is learnt that the car driver had beaten the yellow light to cross the junction while the motorcyclist had waited at the yellow box prior to crossing the road.
The event happened on March 14, 2017 at 4.25pm but the timestamp of the video was reset recently.
The video is quite graphic and may disturb some viewers.
