AADK detains seven men in drug raid

KANGAR: Four Thais, suspected to be drug addicts were among seven people detained by the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) in Taman Wang Kelian yesterday.
The seven, aged between 20 and 50, were picked up from a house in an integrated operation.
The house owner was also detaiend to facilitate investigations into the discovery of 68 packets of ketum juice and five kilogrammes of ketum plants at the premises.
In a statement here today, AADK Perlis Office director Azizah Ahmad said six of the suspects tested positive for syabu.
She said the house where the suspects were picked up was found to have been turned into a 'port' for ketum supply. — Bernama
