"One extra crew on board flight AK6306 to Langkawi. Well done on keeping it super clean @tonyfernandes #airasia," Laikar tweeted with the 23s video which was retweeted about 186 times at the time this article was written.
When contacted by theSun, Laikar said it was not new for their boss to step in and help.
"He was scheduled to take a flight to Langkawi. He waited at the aircraft door to welcome all passengers. After all passengers had disembarked, he joined the crew to prepare the aircraft for next flight. He saw the new vacuum we just started using onboard and start vacuuming," he said.
Laikar also said that Fernandes usually helps the crew out by picking up rubbish, goes down to the ramp department to carry bags and sometimes joins guest service.
"He's been doing it for 15 years!" Laikar added.
