Apple unveils latest line-up – from simplified iPads to red iPhone 7

Apple came out with a flurry of announcements — unveiling a cheaper 9.7-inch iPad, more storage in the iPad mini 4, a new (Product) Red iPhone, a Snapchat-like app called Clips, and new Apple Watch bands.
iPads
It has an updated version of its iPad tablet with a brighter screen, available to order from Friday and with a US$329 (RM1,457.31) starting price that is the lowest ever for a full-sized tablet from Apple.
Consumers can either get an iPad Mini, the new 9.7-inch iPad, or the iPad Pro in 9.7-inch or 12.9-inch varieties.
The new 9.7-inch iPad is a bit thicker than the iPad Air 2 — about the size of the original iPad Air — but it has a much cheaper price tag, starting at US$329 (RM1,457.31) for 32GB of storage.
That tablet is powered by Apple's fast A9 chip — the same one that's in the iPhone 6s — but it lacks the special screen on the iPad Pro, including its True Tone display and wide colour display. It also doesn't come with the iPad Pro's stereo speakers.
Special Edition iPhone 7 (red)
The red special edition of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus only comes in the 128GB and 256GB options, not the 64GB option.
Apart from the colour change, it's still the same iPhone 7.
Improvements to the iPhone SE
Apple also said its smaller iPhone SE model will be available in 32 and 128GB versions, replacing the 16GB and 64GB models.
The cheapest iPhone SE model still costs US$399 (RM1,767.37), while the higher-end version has gone from US$449 (RM1,988.85) back to its original price of US$499 (RM2,210.32).
Apple's newest app
Apple's newest app is called Clips. It is a mix of Snapchat and iMovie. The app enables you to create photos or short videos, or import them from your Photos app, to add special filters and effects before sharing them on social network.
Apple Watch bands
Apple introduced a handful of new Apple Watch bands so customers can further customize their Watches. The new options include a new striped woven nylon, Nike Sport, and Apple Watch Hermès Bands.
Apple also introduced a total of six new colours for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus cases. The new colour options for the silicone models include Azure, Camelia, and Pebble.
