KOTA KINABALU: A debt-collector who had been imprisoned 10 times for various offences since 2009 was detained by the police two days ago for allegedly breaking into a doctor's house.
Police arrested the 31-year-old suspect during a raid at a house in Taman Sempelang, Sembulan, about 8.30pm two days ago, said Kota Kinabalu City police chief ACP M.Chandra today.
He said police also recovered two lap tops and two handphones, believed to have been stolen from the doctor's house during the break-in last March 22, in the raid.
Police also arrested an unemployed man, aged 32, who was also in the house, he added.
Chandra said the unemployed man had four previous records. Both the suspects tested positive for drug, he added. — Bernama
