"Most of us grew up watching Phua Chu Kang and had grown to love the larger than life character. Many of us who used to watch the popular TV sitcom with our families are now parents ourselves.
Therefore, we thought it would be a good idea to bring back the iconic character for the whole family and PCK fans of all ages to enjoy," said Popcorn Studio Sdn Bhd director Erik Ong.
It is undeniable that even after 20 years since the character's debut in September 1997, Phua Chu Kang is still very much an icon that is hugely popular today.
The show will also be introducing Singapore's funniest ventriloquist Joseph Then. Joseph, a veteran in the family entertainment scene, is known for his innovative ventriloquism act with his wacky puppet partners.
