Man killed after 4WD plunges into sewer at Beaufort

KOTA KINABALU: A man was killed while another injured after a four-wheel drive they were travelling in skidded and plunged into a sewer at the Jalan Bypass Beaufort Roundabout, last night.
Sabah Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department in a statement said Andrew Mustal, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The fire and rescue department received a call about the incident at 8.33pm and arrived on site eight minutes later. The body was handed over to the police for further action," the statement said.
The other victim, Elson Isos, 22, suffered minor injuries and was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment, the statement added. — Bernama
