Two Indonesian nationals nabbed, rifles seized in Kunak

KUNAK: Police here arrested two Indonesian men and seized two homemade shotguns and two air rifles in an operation in Ladang Suntai 2 Sabahan here today.
Kunak District Police chief Supt Mohd Nasaruddin M Nasir said in the incident at 12.30am, a police team raided and checked the farm house, which was believed to be storing homemade weapons and used for drug activities.
"The two suspects, aged 24 and 28, are believed to be drug pushers in Ladang Sabahan and are feared by all the farm workers for allegedly possessing homemade shotguns.
"A check in the farm house also found a blue plastic bag containing a white envelope with seven medium sized and one big sized packets with drugs believed to be syabu, weighing 58.89 grams and valued at RM4,500 inside," he said in a statement yesterday.
He said all the suspects did not have any personal identification documents. — Bernama
