Steve Wilson signed for Karl Lagerfeld collection

BRITISH illustrator Steve Wilson is collaborating with Karl Lagerfeld for a capsule collection featuring designs inspired by colours essential to the colour printing process: cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
Black and white are by now well associated with the Karl Lagerfeld brand and Wilson is adding his own perspective to the mix.
Shirts, jackets, trousers, bags and accessories will be among the goods to carry Wilson's own spins on images of Lagerfeld and his cat, plus some of the fashion designer's own favoured accessories – cameras and sunglasses.
"All too often my work is used anonymously under a brand name, so to have the opportunity to have my name and work used alongside Karl Lagerfeld is very special," Wilson said in a prepared statement carried by WWD.
