Britain 'open for business' post-Brexit

KUALA LUMPUR: Britain will be even more open and outward-looking post-Brexit, said the UK Secretary of State for the Department of International Trade Dr Liam Fox.
"The UK is open for business and is committed to deepening our trading partnership with Malaysia," he said during the Malaysia and Britain "Partners in a post-Brexit world" panel session today.
He said Britain will be more open and globally focused. He said it will seek opportunities in the region and stand against protectionism.
Fox, who arrived in Malaysia last night, is currently on a regional visit covering Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta as part of efforts to reach out to the UK's trading partners.
