The Haven celebrates tower launch

The completion of The Haven Lakeside Residences’ Tower Acacia in Ipoh was celebrated with over 600 guests including purchasers, government officials, VIPs and friends. The tower was completed together with supporting amenities such as club house, swimming pool and jogging track.

The event was also graced by the Regent of Perak, Raja Dr Nazrin Shah and the Raja Puan Besar of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim.

“The task has been arduous, not only due to meticulous design and attention to quality with our limited professional capability and resources, but also due to marketplace scepticism of the development’s desirability and of our ability and commitment,” said The Haven Sdn Bhd CEO, Peter Chan.

“Today we have shown that it can be done. Discerning owners and residents can now live by the pristine virgin forest with all the luxuries and conveniences of city life. Awakening to crisp mountain air amidst a prehistoric setting and unspoilt nature everyday is now a reality.

“Many will utilise this destination as a vacation home, making our persistent slogan that Ipoh is an ‘ideal vacation and retirement destination’ to now be recognised.

“Although going through much flak in the beginning, we pushed forward, continuously making improvements and boldly making great strides towards becoming a super luxury development. We have increased the amount of amenities to 58, which is more than any other condo that we know of,” Chan said.

Features at The Haven include a 60-metre seahorse-shaped swimming pool which Chan said no one could copy as it is trademarked. The infinity swimming pool includes a Jacuzzi, lap pool, leisure pool, children’s pool and wading pool as well as a four-inch transparent infinity edge at the belly and beak of the seahorse design.

Besides that, the residences will be managed similar to a luxury condotel with five-star management by Best Western International, the world’s largest hotel chain with more than 4,000 independently owned and operated hotels in more than 90 countries and territories.

The Haven was conferred 12 awards in less than two years, bringing international attention to Ipoh. These awards speak volumes for Ipoh as a city on the rise. The latest award received is the Best Condo Malaysia in the South East Asia Property Awards 2012.

The entire three-tower development is 85% sold and is currently priced at RM600 per sq ft.

Tower Acacia is completed ahead of the expected date of mid 2013. The other two towers, Banyan and Cycas, are expected to be completed by August—half a year ahead of schedule.
