GT-R Nismo and Juke Nismo RS confirmed
FOLLOWING the recent launch of the Nissan 370Z Nismo and Juke Nismo (below), sources are now reporting that the Japanese automaker have confirmed plans for two more Nismo-tuned models next year.
First of which will be the Juke Nismo RS that is expected to have a more powerful powertrain than the 215hp from its 1.6-litre direct-injection turbocharged four-cylinder in the Juke Nismo.
Whether it will be offered in either two-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive remains unconfirmed for now, but an aggressive aerokit will be equipped to match the increased horsepower figures.
The second model in this expansion will arrive in the form of a GT-R Nismo, which has been reportedly approved for production by Nissan's executives.
The Nismo variant is expected to generate more than 570hp, 25hp more than the current GT-R (top) model's 545hp from its twin-turbocharged V6. The Nismo-tuned GT-R will also have an exclusive bodykit equipped to set it apart from the regular GT-R.
