PwC forms new consulting JV

PETALING JAYA (Aug 13, 2013): PwC has formed a new joint venture (JV) among its consulting practices in Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia and the US, which will give its clients access to an integrated service network and specialist consultants across the region.

The new PwC Southeast Asian consulting business commenced on Aug 1.

"It's an exciting time for us as we grow our consulting business and take on new opportunities in this region," said PwC Malaysia managing partner Sridharan Nair in a statement today.

"Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing regions in the world, and there is significant demand for specialist consulting expertise and support," he added.

PwC Malaysia consulting leader Sundara Raj said its consulting practice will be a major player in this JV.

"Through this collaboration, we will further strengthen our consulting capabilities and give our clients better access to regional and international PwC subject matter experts.

"We therefore hope to better serve our Malaysian clients, and develop new local and regional ones. We're also looking forward to giving our people further opportunities to develop professionally and work regionally," said Sundara.
