Puncak Niaga sets up shop in Myanmar

    PETALING JAYA (Jan 7, 2014): Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd has set up a branch office in Myanmar to explore potential water and waste water-related business opportunities there.
    Puncak Niaga is already present in India, China, Singapore and Vietnam.
    The water services company told Bursa Malaysia that the Companies Registration Offfice of Myanmar's National Planning and Economic Development Ministry has issued a Certificate of Incorporation (Temporary) and a Form of Permit (Temporary) as a branch office in Myanmar. The certificate and the permit are valid until June 30, 2014.
    The funds to set up the office in Myanmar were all internally generated.
