AN elderly Chinese woman is making a desperate plea for help as large facial tumours have turned her into a grotesque figure and earned her the nickname of elephant woman.

Duan from Luoyang City, China, has been living with the tumours since she was three years old, and they have have reached her waist.

PETALING JAYA: A hiker from Johor Baru captured what he thought was a hammerhead snake on video, but the creature turned out to be a huge worm.

Danish Ho was hiking with family in the forest near the capital city when he came across the massive worm with a head like a hammerhead shark.

It was a hammerhead worm (Bipalium), which is the world’s largest flatworm species.

A RUSSIAN, who tried to overcome his fear of flying by drinking too much, is now in police custody after causing a scare in a flight from Moscow to Antalya in Turkey.

The drunken passenger was tied up using seatbelts by fellow passengers, The Daily Sabah of Turkey reported on Wednesday.

He was on a Red Wing Airlines flight with his wife and two children.
