Novelist expresses relief after arrest for 1995 quadruple murder

AN acclaimed novellist has expressed relief when he was arrested for a quadruple murder committed 22 years ago.

Liu Yongbiao, 53, confessed to the 1995 multiple murders after Anhui police made a breakthrough in the case which they thought had gone cold, The Beijing News reported on Tuesday.

A WOMAN has claimed that a mango thief threatened to rape her and burn down her house after she confronted him and an accomplice for stealing mangoes.

She posted video clips of the men plucking mangoes from outside her house in Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur, on Facebook.

A WOMAN in Fuzhou, Sichuan, has been arrested by the police after she attempted to mail her newborn to the local orphanage.

Luo, 24, wrapped the infant in layers of black plastic bags and have the newborn couriered to an orphanage on Wednesday.
