SINCE the launch of the Proton Preve, I have had two surprises. The first was last Sunday on my way back from Malacca when a Preve flashed past me on the Air Keroh highway.

Even though I put my foot down on my supercharged 1.8-litre car, it kept on pulling away.

The second was on the way back from Cherating on an organised media drive for the Preve.
