DEEMED a dark comedy, Ghost Buddies unfortunately is not exactly a ‘rolling around on the floor’ laugh story. On the contrary, it gets quite tedious when the actors take things too far and ­overact.

The movie deals with Fai (Mark Lee), who is secretly in love with his colleague, Pearl (Maggie Shiu).

THIS Malaysian crime novel is not exactly heart-stopping stuff but it is not to be dismissed entirely either. In fact, it turns out to be smooth-flowing and definitely readable.
