It’s that easy with RHB

Bank has rolled out a new campaign, That’s Easy , aimed at rewarding its credit cardmembers with more value, following the success of the previous campaign, the RHB Bonanza Craze.

"Given the current economic climate, we intend to reward our cardmembers with certain necessities such as groceries, petrol and electricity," said RHB banking group’s head of retail banking Renzo Viegas at the launch recently.

The contest bears the tagline, You’ll find any excuse to use your RHB credit card, he said, adding that cardholders are only required to register their credit card number once via SMS for their transactions to be automatically tracked as contest entries for a chance to win prizes.

"In line with our new motto, Banking Simplified, we have created the campaign to make it even easier for RHB cardmembers, who just need to register themselves for the contest and spend a minimum amount of RM50 in a single transaction," he said.

Every month, lucky cardholders will walk away with either one year’s worth of free petrol, free groceries or free electricity totalling RM10,000 each.

The potential winners will be selected based on a certain mechanism – each transaction (qualifying entry) is tracked and sorted by date and given a serial number.

At the end of the month, every 108th entry will be contacted via telephone and asked two simple questions which if answered correctly, wins them a particular price.

Currently, the bank has a cardmember base of about 800,000 and is aiming to have a million cardholders by the end of the year, with the aid of the new contest.

In conjunction with the launch, RHB also marked the end of the previous campaign with a prize-giving ceremony for RHB Bonanza Craze.

The grand prize winner, Chee Hin Kiat, was thrilled to have won a Bufori and drove it back to Ipoh, Perak.
