Doctor2u launches medication delivery service

SHAH ALAM: Doctor2U today announced a partnership with BP Healthcare Group and Lovy Pharmacy to launch a new medication delivery service in Malaysia. Customers will now be able to use the Doctor2U app to order prescription medications and have them delivered to their homes. Doctors can also order medication on behalf of their patients to provide them with extra savings and convenience.

The process for ordering medication through Doctor2U is simple. The customer just needs to snap a picture of his or her prescription and it will be sent to BP and Lovy Pharmacists for review. Once the pharmacists have verified and processed the order, the customer can make payment through the app. Delivery options include fast track (3 hours within Klang Valley) and normal delivery, as well as an option to pick up the medicine at any BP or Lovy Pharmacy outlet nationwide.

"We are very excited about the launch of the new Pharmacy feature. We want to provide a fast, reliable and convenient way for customers to order and refill medications. And even better, we are able to offer competitive pricing thanks to the scale of volume purchase of BP and Lovy Pharmacy," said Keegan Flynn, co-founder and chief financial officer of Doctor2U. "This latest offering is another step towards making Doctor2U a one-stop platform for bringing any health-care related services to your doorstep."

The Pharmacy feature also includes other perks such as free webcam consultations with pharmacists and free reminders to refill recurring medications.
