GQ Korea has announced their Men of the Year lineup with an interesting addition!
The 2020 Men of the Year issue features familiar faces such as Crush, Lee Dong Wook, Henry and Rain.
However, it also listed IU as one of the Men of the Year and it wasn’t an editorial oversight either.
The magazine still maintains that she’s also one of the Men of the Year.
GQ’s Men of the Year highlights influential figures who have been taking on challenging and creative ventures.
Hence, IU was recognized for her artistry and sincere approach to music during her 12 years as a singer.
IU’s collaboration with BTS Suga for the single Eight achieved an impressive feat this year and might have been what inspired GQ to honour her in their December issue.
She has also lent her voice for the original soundtracks of popular drama, Crash Landing on You and the talent show, ILAND.
This December issue will also feature 5 different covers with each Man of the Year gracing its covers.
