Four days of magic at Putrajaya

TAKING advantage of the imminent school holidays, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) has organised a first-of-its- kind four-day magic festival. From Sept 12 to 15, children and adults will be mesmerised by the many magic-inspired competitions, workshops and showcases.
Several types of magic booths will be offering a plethora of entertaining activities. Two free 45-minute workshops will also be conducted daily, from tomorrow. Participate in the competitions (Malaysia Open, Junior Open or International All Star) or simply watch and be fascinated, but make sure you have your tickets for the main highlight, which is the International Gala Night Premier.
Tickets for the gala show are sold at RM50 per adult and RM25 per child. The special show will be staged on Sept 15 at 8pm. Spectators will be in for a grand time and an enjoyable experience especially with international acts including eight globally renowned, award-winning magicians performing. The spectacular lineup of magicians include Avery and Sylvia from Malaysia; Henning Nielson from Denmark; Victor Voitko from Ukraine; Mike Chao from Taiwan; Ma Yan Yan from China; Kenji Minemura from Japan; and Jung Byung Gu from Korea.
Fans of magic can opt to stay close-by with the three-day/two-night hotel package offered at RM880 nett per person for accommodation at either Putrajaya Shangri-La or Putrajaya Marriott. This package includes a special cruise come sightseeing tour by "Cruise Tasik Putrajaya" as well as a ticket for the gala premier show.
Ticket prices for the competitions are RM8 per adult and RM2 per child. These, along with the gala night tickets, can be purchased via cash or credit card at the ticket counter at PICC's business centre, open daily from 9am to 8pm (including weekends and public holidays).
