KUALA LUMPUR: The MIC Youth today launched MIC Youth Disaster Aid Centre (MyDAC), to embark on a flood relief campaign to assist flood victims. It's national chief, C. Sivarraajh said the centre would be operational for the next two weeks with a 24-hour hotline, to be served by volunteers from MIC Youth Squad. "The main objective of setting up MyDAC is to assist victims who have yet to receive food and medical supplies in the flooded areas, especially in the east coast. "At the same time, we are also gathering information and statistics on the flood victims to further assist them. Family members of victims can contact us through the hotline," he told reporters at the party headquarters here, today. The victims and their family members could contact the centre through the hotline 019-2070460 or by email to email@example.com or through emergency contact persons namely M. Nitesh 016-2011790, K. Arvind 010-2211881, G.Thiagaseelan 016-5979438, K. Kesavan 012-2554104 and P. Mugunthan 014-6419 650.
