44 cars destroyed in fire in Kuala Sawah

SEREMBAN: Forty-four cars were destroyed in a fire at a workshop in Kampung Ribu, Kuala Sawah, near here last night.
Seremban 2 Fire and Rescue Station operations chief Badroltamam Abd Aziz said they received a distress call at 12.45am and arrived at the scene 39 minutes later with 11 personnel and three fire engines.
"Upon reaching the location, most of the cars parked in the compound of the workshop were already on fire," he told Bernama here today.
Badroltamam said no casualties were reported in the incident, which was completely extinguished one hour later at about 2.06am.
The cause of the fire and amount of loss incurred were still being investigated, he said. — Bernama
