PETALING JAYA: LeBlanc Communications-TFP Solutions Bhd in collaboration The National Cancer Council Malaysia (MAKNA) organised a mass head shaving initiative in an effort to raise awareness and also drive the spirit of giving by highlighting and encouraging people's involvement on the knowledge on cancer. "The Ultimate Shave Off" campaign was organised by the trio and presents support of cancer awareness campaign. A total of 22 volunteers signed up to go bald which also saw both LeBlanc and TFP donating RM165,000 for cancer patients. At the event, the focus was on the employees of LeBlanc who volunteered to shave their head as this was first year of the project. Also present at the event was LeBlanc managing director Kuna Muno who were delighted that more of his employees turned up to help to spread awareness. "Cancer is a leading cause of death in Malaysia, therefore we hope to reach out more people, for prevention and early detection. A spokesperson from Makna also thanked the emlpoyees and LeBlanc and TFP for their efforts and contributions. "We want to take care of our patients well and we want to encourage them not to give up in facing the adversities and challenges in life," he said.
