Bank Muamalat Malaysia appointed as ASNB agent

PETALING JAYA: Permodalan Nasional Berhad has appointed Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad as its Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) agent.
With this appointment, Bank Muamalat is ready to offer the sale and purchase of ASNB unit trust funds at its 64 branches.
Its chairman Tan Sri Mohd Munir Abdul Majid said that as ASNB agent, all of its branches nationwide will serve as a service channel representative for customers to make transactions such as opening and account, making the purchase and selling of the unit trust easily.
"Through this partnership, we are committed to improve the quality of service and efficiency in the management of the financial management of Bank Muamalat. Additionally, marketing ASNB products to the bank's customers by sharing allows them to understand on stock management investment.
"This provides a good return by providing consistent and competitive dividend rates by ASNB," he said in a recent statement.
