ON May 19, Shell launched its Raya Charity Campaign for the fourth year running. The campaign is still ongoing, and Malaysians have six more days to take part and make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. From today to June 14, Shell will donate 1 sen from every litre of fuel pumped at any Shell station nationwide, and Mastercard will donate an additional sen per litre for payments made with a Mastercard. The funds will be donated to seven selected charitable organisations across the country – the Kalsom Movement (nationwide), Yayasan Chow Kit (Klang Valley), Majlis Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Malaysia (East Coast, North and South), Project T.R.Y (Transforming Rural Youth, Sabah), Pertubuhan Ibu Bapa Kanak-Kanak Keperluan Istimewa Sarawak, Montfort Youth Training Centre (Sabah), and HAUS (Sarawak). The donation will allow these charitable organisations to fund educational programmes, renovate facilities, and upgrade office equipment.
