BNM: International reserves at US$104.8b

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia’s international reserves amounted to US$104.8 billion (RM436.18 billion) as at Sept 15, 2020, a slight improvement of 0.4% from US$104.4 billion recorded as at Aug 28.

The central bank stated the reserves position is sufficient to finance 8.7 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times total short-term external debt.
