BNM’S international reserves at US$109.2b on June 15

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia’s international reserves fell 3.19% to US$109.2 billion (RM481.03 billion) as at June 15, 2022, from US$112.8 billion (RM496.88 billion) as at May 31, 2022. “The reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.5 months of imports of goods and services , and is 1.1 times the total short-term external debt,” the central bank said in a statement.
